Need help to oc q9550!

can someone help me plz i dont know much about oc...sorry for being a noob!

anyways i have a q9550, gigabyte x48-ds4, 280gtx, and 4gb(2x2gb) corssair dominator PC2 8500

i want to oc my cpu to 3.4ghz and ram as well so can u guys tell me exactly wat to change and stuff on my bios plz!

I might be of an oldschool perspective but I wouldn't want to just max out settings based on what someone says or what is needed in terms of FSB to hit that speed.
Just because one person runs 1.XX voltage on the same setup doesn't mean yours will run stable at that speed.

Just start slowly increasing the bus speed maybe 10-15mhz at a time and test for stability. I'm not familiar with the Gigabyte boards and if they have any type of 'auto' setting for voltages you may want to try that first.

Is your cooling adequate? Are you using the stock intel fan?

yeah my cooling is fine im using a tuniq tower 120. i can increase the cpu frequency but i dont know wat else to do and how to increase which voltages and stuff!

here are the images of my mobo bios! if u can tell me wat to change then i can slowly increase those and try it out! and if u can tell me an average number for each one in order to get the speed to 3.4ghz then ill be glad!
