i have the coolermaster c-rc 831 Stacker case, a 700Watt power supply, GA-EP45-DS3P Mother board, E8400 CPU, Zalman CNPS 9500 CPU cooling fan, 4GB of ram running at 1066 Mhz.

im looking for an overclock to about 3.5 is this possible without causing lots of heat?

It's possible. Leave the multiplier at 9, then raise the FSB to 390. I don't know what the voltage will have to be at that speed, though. Probably ~1.2v.

my voltage is 1.218v @ 443 in the FSB the ram is at 1064MHz
