What to do when it says press f2 to run setup

Hello,
when i turn my computer on it's just a black screen saying "press f1 to reboot or f2 to set up" I press reboot and the message appears again. What can I do?

Try pressing F2. This should display a menu. One of the options on this should be "Load safe defaults", or words to that effect. Select that option.

It's a little bit difficukt to be more specfic with no details of your hardware.
