Yes it does. But it's not as easy as with XP or Vista. When I first got wireless I turned to software engineer friend who had already set up his own router and laptop.

It took him some time to get things working on my 98 system.

When I upgraded to XP I installed everything myself and had few probs.

Have since set up various Vista machines including ones using Japanese and Korean versions.
