What stores around might carry the E8400? I rather not wait for the Q9450... especially with quad cores not having the advantage right now. Might upgrade later. There is no Fry's around here.
NCIX has some http://www.ncix.com/products/index [...] orcatid=26 but thier store is in Vancouver Canada. It might help to know roughly where you can get to to pick one up.

I've only seen a few E8200's available at retail stores. Chain computer stores and private computer hardware stores.
Scratch that ... just ordered the Xeon version (E3110)from NCIXUS.com
Microcenter has it (if it's in stock at retail stores) So does compusa I think.
check out ebay, thats where i got mine does get a little expensive (had to pay $265us for it) but for the e8400 its worth it, trust me
