What stores around might carry the E8400? I rather not wait for the Q9450... especially with quad cores not having the advantage right now. Might upgrade later.

NCIX has some http://www.ncix.com/products/index [...] orcatid=26 but thier store is in Vancouver Canada.
It might help to know roughly where you can get to to pick one up.

Im in the state of Pennsylvania, wonder if they'll ship here

I've only seen a few E8200's available at retail stores.
 
Chain computer stores and private computer hardware stores.

check out ebay, thats where i got mine
does get a little expensive (had to pay $265us for it) but for the e8400 its worth it, trust me
