I went to get coffee and let my friend play CoD5 on my comp while i was gone. He said that there was a power outage while i was gone, and now after booting the system back up the Intel Matrix Storage Controller says the two drive volumes are OK but the RAID is no longer present. I was running RAID 1 with the proper drivers installed--ICH10R / DO RAID CONTROLLER--during the vista ultimate 64 installation. Everything was running great but now it's "initializing" the RAID that should be there already and it's taking a LONG time. Why would it need to do this if it was working properly before and the Storage Controller still says the VOLUMES are OK... but the RAID just vanished? Could it have something to do with the power outage?
I'm completely confused. Any input would be spectacular. Thanks.
oh and The Intel Matrix Storage Controller is version 8.7
