i just bought a psu, corsair, . im getting strange symtoms on my computer..

even though the pcu is off, there is a power on the usb ports. when i plug in USB fan, or mp3, it works,
i need to set the switch to off on the back of the psu, to spot it.

is it suppose to be like that?

as far as I know, no

but i would recommend shutting of the psu once ur done using it for the day, b/c u usually trickle off 15-1 watts. at least thats what I noticed with ym set-up once I used a Kill-A-watt power meter...

i gotta be honest its kind of odd, but then again I've never used the Ds3l mobo b4. did you check with gigabyte's forum's, maybe this is a mobo issue, but I would check with corsair first, since it is the PSU that gives power to the rest of the pc...

Check your manual. I believe that there is a jumper setting to change this. However, it is not anything wrong with the PSU.

Agreed. It is nothing wrong with the PSU. My DS3R dose this too.
