Shortcut does not appear on my desktop

i have a file I received by email that I want to create a shortcut for. I found the file with "explorer" and told it to create a shortcut. Nothing. Bill

point at the file, right click, left click on send to, left click on desktop. If that did not work, let the forum know. If that is not working as above, I have no doubt that you are correct.

What directory did you find it in, in explorer? You should be able to just cut and paste that onto your desktop.
