Hi
I have an Acer travelmate 4230 laptop and am wondering if it can use a PCI express MXM graphics card (it is currently onboard)…
I took apart the back and it Does have a slot for the card, but it does not say anything about being MXM compatible on the acer website (which I have been unhappy with support wise)

Anybody have any ideas?

I have the same problem as the post above, and although it has been over 6 months before this origional one was posted, I was just wondering if there was ever a conclusion? I use my laptop for Gaming as I travel alot and would love to go 'past' the on-board graphics but just don't know what I'm able to put in.

Best regards,

Gary
