Ok so I know Im a n00b and almost all of this stuff...but I recently built my first ever rig...

and again I understand Im a n00b...but am hoping someone can give me a hand here...

So here are my some of my specs, then Ill get to the issue, I have a Intell Q6600 CPU, and 4 gigs of OCZ reaper Ram, in a EVGA 780i mobo...Im running Vista (garbage) x64
I just recently added 4 more gigs of ram...

I have nothing OC'd, I dont know how to yet. I cant seem to get the right settings to speed up my ram...I know there
has to be a way...In the BIOS im running everything in freakin auto...cuz I dont know what to change to help out my RAM speeds...any suggestions?

I can post the clock speeds I have set for everything now...

Any help would be appreciated

Is the second 4gb of RAM the same stuff as the first 4gb?

Youll need to check RAM specifications and set accordingly in the BIOS... this includes frequency, timings and most importantly voltage.
