Can anyone point me toward some benchmarks showing the temperature differences between a reference cooler 8800 GT and one with an aftermarket HSF? Particularly this MSI card:

I can't seem to find any that actually shows temps or if they do, they don't have this MSI card, or any aftermarket cooler type card in the test. And I don't trust the nubs on NewEgg for reliable info. :heink:

Just curious really, but I wanted to see how significant the difference was.

Thanks!

I don't need a graph to tell me that the MSI card with that cooler is going to run MUCH cooler. I've fiddled with so many aftermarket coolers on my old x1900xtx I can look at one and tell you its better than stock by far.
I'd go as far to say it would run cooler than a GTS however it does keep the hot air in your case and will bring the internal case temp up so make sure you have good airflow. When I went from my x1900xtx with thermalright HR-03 cooler to the GTS my mobo temp dropped 5C
