Wow, if Sun succeeds then perhaps the PC will be forever changed, and we're probably talking within the next 10 years that we'll be able to run FSX with decent framerates... Hmm.

This is kinda like IBM's attempt to create phtot transistors. Either way we will one day see a stop in the production of CPUs and transistors the way we know them.
I am sure AMD and Intel have something they are working on. Although AMD will more than likely benefit from IBM where as Intel will be working on something else.
