Hello,
I have experience sound problems while trying to update my sound drive. At this stage I have got no sound. I went to all forums for help to rectify the problem but every time I tried to download a sound drive (No audio devices installed accordingly my sound icon at the control panel) it starts to download without any problem but when it wants to install the download it run for a few minutes and then I receive the above mentioned thread. I am running Vista (Home) The computer make is a emachine. email benitakb@gmail.com I would appreciate it if somebody can assist me with this problem.
 


Was checking Windows Audio Services set to automatic & started one of your solutions ?

Hi ksiemb, Thanks for your quick response. That advice was mentioned in one of the many forums I went through trying to rectify the thread but without any success. Any other solutions you can think of would be appreciated.
 

This also may have been suggested.
Device Manager: Delete ant "Other Devices marked with Yellow? or ! "
Audio device - If exist, uninstall Driver.

Download appropriate drivers to desktop.

Reboot - Point to deskto drivers when hardware wizard asks
