I have a problem with booting XP on my hd. Before I had a asus p5n-d mobo with 3 hd (74gb raptor, 640gb WD, 1TB seagate) with the OS on the raptor. I then switch mobo and now currently using a Rampage Formula. Installed all 3 hd, but now when I boot it is recognizing my 640GB as the master boot record. I go into the bios boot priority and it only lists the 640GB as a boot disk.

Now if i do unplug the 640GB, the 74GB boots into windows fine. I also tried booting with the winxp cdrom and when i try to isntall a fresh xp on the raptor it says the 640 needs to have the OS. The sata setup i have is sata 1 (cdrom) sata 2 (raptor) sata 3 (640gb) sata 4 (1TB).

Anyone have suggestions?

Just need to set the boot order. In one spot you can choose HDD, CD, Floppy, etc, but in another you'll find you can choose the hard drive you want to boot from.

advanced - hard disk drives - select the one you want and/or move it to the top, then back up into the boot device priority menu and get the hdd on top.
