Kind members of Toms forum, been doing a lot of searching and reading and everything seems to be in a grey area to me. One person says one PSU is good enough for this set up then someone else says its not even close. Maybe someone here could shine a little light on weather or not I need to buy a better PSU.

Current PSU
600W OCZ GameXStream OCZ600GXSSLI
Link here http://www.newegg.com/product/product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341001

Rest of my system
Sapphire X1900XTX --> what I'm taking out to put the 3870x2 in

MSI K9A Platinum AM2 AMD 580X Crossfire Mobo
AM2 Athlon 64 X2 6400 Processor
4X1G Kingston HyperX DDR2 800 Ram
2X WD Raptor 150GB
1X WD 250GB 7200RPM
X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Sound Card
1 Dvd burner and 1 Dvd Player

I understand that the PSU only has the 2x 6pin power connectors and I won't be able to enable the overclocking utility on the card, and that is fine with me. Just want to know what I should do.

Thanks in advance for anyone that helps me out on this!!!

Are you planning on doing xfire down the road? 600W IMO would be cutting it close if you want to leave that option open but I would be comfortable with 600W on what you have currently. Look at this deal, the 700W has rebates to make it cheaper than the 600W. That is a no brainer move to me.

Wait, do you currently have the 600W right now or are you searching for one to buy? So that would be a no brainer if you haven't already bought the 600W

Yes thanks for reply, the OCZ Power Supply is what I currently have in my computer. I'm just trying to avoid buying a new one seeing how I bought that one just a year ago thinking it would be good for awhile. I also don't plan on doing any crossfire, hopeing just one of the new 3870x2 will do just fine.
