It feels like I missed an important part for some reason. Is this everything I need?

these parts are compatible, correct? I'm pretty certain they are, but I want to be sure.

I plan to overclock the CPU to at least 3.0GHz. I've heard good things about the tuniq tower. Will the ram I picked be good enough? I'm not really sure if I should get better ram or not.

Also, I picked the DS3P mobo over the DS3R because it has a better heatsink on it. Will this really make a difference, or should I just go for the DS3R?

I think the difference is RAID. You can't raid with 1 harddisk. So pick the cheaper board.
