so, the main question is to choose between phenom 9500 cpu, gigabyte  GA-MA770-DS3 mb, and 4x1gb ddr2 1066 vs q9300 cpu,gigabyte P35 DS3 and 2x1gb ddr2 1066.i dont search extreme performance, crazy overclock ,breaking records.i already have an 3780 radeon.i need to choose between those 2 . tanks.

Well considering that the Q6600 best the Phenom 9500 in an overall of about 10%-15%(thats gaming, video editing and so on) and the Q9300 does perform about 3-10% or more depending on what it is than the Q6600 and will run cooler due to the 45nm I would say its an easy choice.
 
I say the Q9300. It will run cool, run fast and probably be able to OC to 3GHz easily too just for that extra boost in performance if you feel like it.
 
Oh and though it may be rare, if you go with the Phenom 9500 you could, and I am not sure of the chances but is a chance, of getting one with a bad core2(3rd core) that would have probably been meant for a tri core. Just want to make sure you have all your avenues covered.

good point.the only problem remain that i have to wait a few more days for q9300 but i think it worth it .tanks for the arguments.

If anything you could get a Intel Xeon X3320(same as Q9300) and a good P35 mobo that supports the Q9300(like the Asus P5K-E series) and use it instead. Or the Xeon X3350(same as a Q9450) for a bit higher stock speed.
