D and e drives are gone from my computer why?

Hello,
windows just updated my xp and I
also just added a free agent portable f drive, now only the f drive show's up on 'my computer'
and nothing will play on d and e
drives which do not show up. what
did i do wrong and how can i fix it. thanks

Try removing the portable drive. Does your D and E drive show back up?
