Question about mobo and processor combo

Well, reading the reviews from customers on newegg seem to suggest taht it worked with the E8400 out of the box, but memory im not too sure.. The QVL isn't really THAT important, but Gskill, Corsair, or Mushkin 2x2gb should work fine.

Alternatively, ask the seller if they can guarantee out-of-box compatibility with e8400 in writing so if it doesn't work, they're liable for flashing the bios for you at their expense. You can also ask a computer store to flash the bios for a small price.

If you don't overclock, pick up any DDR2 Kingston 800mhz that works out of the box on any board.
