Hi there everyone, just a qucik question regarding memory, i have a Acer Aspire M5100 Phenom 9500 Quadcore at 2.20GHZ with 2gig memory already installed i want to add a further 2Gig what memory do i need!!!thanks
1) Check if your computer supports 4GB of RAM (from Acer)
2) Check how many DIMM slots total are in your computer:
a) If 4 total, then 2 should be full now; add 2x 1GB DDR2-800 DIMMs for a total of 4, but be sure to get good quality RAM (not OCZ) to minimize the chances of incompatibility. It's hard to tell without knowing the brand name and model number, but your post suggests that it requires 1.9V instead of the standard 1.8V, which may cause problems.
