Physical memory error in installing oracle on xp

Hello,
i have one please clarify
my ram size is 256mb but whaen i am installing oracle it gives an error that is u have no sufficient physical memory add some more physical memory ,how can add physical memory and physical meory,how to solve this error?

What is your computer brand and model? You just need to purchase more RAM. Try www.Crucial.com, they have a nice online memory scanner that can inventory your system and tell you what you can get to upgrade it.

256mb is very low to even run XP on, let alone Oracle.
