I know it's not the best card in the world, but the best PC I can find for my price has one. What sort of games will it play? Will it play crysis? Or at least COD4?
Damn my low price range lol. The only other graphics in my price range are geforce 7050 and I've heard that's just as bad and I believe is on-board lol.
What about the 8500gt? I know that's not very good either but would it play games like crysis and COD? It's just the pc I'm being offered (by a friend who builds them cheap) has high specs for the price so I have to compromise when it comes to graphics and the cards I have available to me aren't that great I don't think.
give us some more infromation, liek what PC are u buying, where and how much, there are places that will build u good gmaing computers on the lower end. But we gotta know what ur budget is for either the whole pc or if ur just buying a GFX card...
HD2400 pro should be alot faster than 7050 which is an IGP, something like 200-300%.
8500GT is not much better than HD2400 pro since it only has half the guts in 8600 series...
You are much better off with a custom built PC, or just buy a computer with integrated graphics, and put in a good card yourself.
