PNY 8800GT OC vs Zotac 8800GT Pre-OC

How easily does the PNY 8800GT OC? And what software will I need to download? Or should I just buy the pre-OCed Zotac AMP edition? I want a fast single-slot cool gpu. Newegg stopped selling the Zotac sadly...

just get the cheapest 8800GT and OC yourself.its far easier then OC CPUif you had any experience before.

most card(well all i think!)comes with tiny OC and sell for a jack up price. so its not worth it to get Pre-OC cards.

Well, I've never OCed before and I thought getting Pre-OCed would be nice because I wouldn't have to worry about doing it myself. Plus, the Zotac used be $120 and it was running as fast as a 880gts, it was also single-slot and it ran cool... maybe the BFG?

But people say on the review that BFG is not letting them register their card meaning no rebate and notrade-in for a new card.

well i gave you my view its up to you to take it in or not. because OC a graphics card is no more then pulling slider and click apply.THATS IT!

unless the graphics card uses aftermarket cooler otherwise every card is the same reference card from nvidia with different sticker on it(an price tag of course!LOL).

O boy, if you wanted a cool single slot card I hope you didnt go with 8800GT. The single slot versions run hotter than a pistol.
