I was running 2 Patriot 64GB on a ASAU M2NSLI Deluxe board configured as RAID 0 and it worked fine. I just updated to a M4A79 and and AMD 940 and the RAID controller won't advance past saying that the arrays are "functional." When I unplugg the SSD's all is well. Any thoughts?

Yeah, you cant migrate the RAID0 disks to another controller; it fails recognising the metadata, which is probably from another manufacturer.

You just wanted to connect your RAID0 disks to another controller and expect it to work?

Yep...nvidia on the first board and amd on the other. I figured (eroneously it seems) that if I created the new array on the new board and reformatted the disks I might get away with it. Clearly not the case. Any thoughts on how to get these ssd's recognized? Reformat failed from inside Windows though the storage manager sees the single raid disk. It sees RAW file system.
