Hi Guys,
I dropped my external HD and it broke. Nevertheless, I was able to recover all my data.
Now, I'd like to know if there is any hope of recovering the HD itself (or at least a part of it).
The thing is, my PC recognized it, but it couldn't format it. I wonder if there is a way of recovering it, may be a software that points the good and bad sectors, so windows can still use the good ones. The HD is not so old (500 mb) so I don't feel like just dumping it in the garbage.
Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated, as I said, I'll try anything since I have nothing to loose.
