When I put this Transporter 3 on the DVD drive in my pc, I notice the drive doesn't read it. It took a while to load, but it still doesn't read it. The DVD looks clean and scratch free (note: this is a rental dvd from blockbuster).

The strange thing I've noticed, the dvd player icon in My Computer changed to CD-Rom icon with no disk in it. I even used the right button click and it says nothing in the drive.

I rented Quantum of Solace and it worked today. What do you think why it's not working?

definitely a dvd and not a blue ray disc by mistake?

I looked around on dvd and I don't see any blu ray. What if it's actually a pirated dvd?

well if its a copy the bottom will be blue, and most likely the top will be smooth and pixelated.

if it is a pirate it means someone did a bad job burning it which is what is probably causing your issue.

Update: I've tried this movie on Xbox 360 and it works flawlessly. I still want to know why it doesn't work with my PC dvd drive.

If I have to be more specific, my DVD drive is also a re-writer drive too. Maybe it's a program that prevents to run on DVD-RW. Is there a software to make it works?
