Start up for win xp on flash drive

Hello,
I need a boot disk for win xp I can't use a floppy,the computer running doesn' have floppy,the computer locked I bought at a yard sale and is locked by a password,Ive tried things it says on the net no help,I don't have the money to pay 40.00 for a password program,any help would be appreciated.thank you
