Is the power supply fan very loud? Is the PC just crashing, or is it slowing down and then eventually crashing? Any other unique problems?

That power supply is probably one of the best power supplies you can get that come with a case. There is always that chance that you got a bad pick. We will probably need some more info though. I'm guessing its software based because your computer won't physically crash, in the hardware sense, unless you are really pressing the limits of your hardware. Give some computer specs w/ brands of each part, OS you are running, other applications you have running during world of warcraft, how long you've had this computer running from your last/first OS install, and anything else you think we should know.

I have the 832 and it cost me $249 without a PSU. $100 for a 1000w PSU? it can't be very good. The cheapest current 830+PSU combo is $399.99 which includes the 1000w Real Power Pro which is $239.99 by itself after MIR. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817171022

Is that the PSU that you have? If it is then I would think you might have gotten a bad unit.

The Real Power series of PSU is pretty much junk, I am not sure where Pokemon gets his information but the specs and reviews all say it is not a great PSU. However, I doubt you are using 50% of that power supply so it should be ok. Either there is another problem in the system or the PSU is DOA. That said the deal with the stacker case and a 1000w, even a bad one, is still pretty good and you should not have problems.

I went to JohnnyGuru and H Enthusiast so I'm pretty sure they aren't skipping anything important. Its going to be solid in terms of performance, but reliability is a different area that an Enermax is going to be known for. You'll find more Real Power Pro's with problems than Enermax's, but when you get one that is good, its going to perform almost on par with the Enermax.

^ Agreed, only if we are talking about the non-Galaxy S series. The Galaxy S is the absolute best PSU on the market. Its peak watt output is 80-150w higher than what the PSU is rated and the quality, design, and build of it are unmatched. However, the Real Power 1000w PSU + Stacker 830 is the best deal on the market, so as long as your system does not use over 700w then you will be set, as long as the PSU is not DOA or faulty.

I bought the 830 with the 1000w PSU in December. I haven't had any problem with it at all. I think I remember someone doing a review on it, (HardOCP?) and the review was quite favorable. It could be a faulty PSU, those things happen, and if that is the case, Coolermaster should be able to help you. Good luck.
