hello everyone, well, my computer always took a while to turn on. I would always turn on the computer and windows vista wouldn't start until I waited about 5-10 minutes and then restart to get it going. ( I would be able to tell by seeing that my HDD light has stopped flashing) Recently I got a thermalright hr-03 and a 92mm fan for my x1950xt, once i got everything hooked up I would do the same routine except windows wouldn't load this time, then i tried disconnecting the fans and there it went, it loaded. I don't think I'm getting enough juice to my HDD (conneceted via SATA) currently i have an antec 550watt psu. Do any of you have any suggestions, or should I start looking to buy a new PSU. Thank you.!!

I tried connecting the fans once Vista was runnig, nothing would happen except Vista would stop working, it would just get stuck.

Man I have like 10 questions I want to ask, but I'm to tired and will just say, try a new PSU. Get a good one.
Then list your specs and describe your computer, how it's been set up and it's age from os install. Etc Etc.

Hmm that system should be fine on the Antec 550w, if it is the Tripower.  Did you try using other connectors?  If the connector you are trying is dead then it can mess with the entire PSU.  If not that then, yes you will need a new PSU.

Molex to be specific.

that's what i thought, switching around some of them, and using the fan-molex especifically for fans. If this doesn't do, then I will try to contact Antec about this problem.

the connectors are all fine, I check every single one today. Nothing else, I read somewhere about some of Antec's PSU having some problems with voltage, I might need a volt meter to see if the wires are giving off the right amount of voltage.

Anyone else have any idea of what this could be?

Yup, or a component in your PC is drawing abnormal voltage levels, it happens.  check everything you can.
