Windows 7 email problem

I just installed Windows 7. My CONTACT LIST transfered over OK with Microsoft Outlook. It is listed LAST NAME FIRST with ALL the additional info OK (TEL, CELL, ADDRESS, EMAIL ADDRESS, etc) The problem is when I go a new email, or reply in the TO section ALL the contacts are mixed with some LAST name first while other are FIRST name first. I can't figure it out---I need help. With my old system everything was OK and in perfect order.

Are you sure it's sorting the list by name??? And not say... e-mail address.

When you click "TO" and the contact list opens... click on name at the top to sort by name.... it will sort a-z and if you click again it will sort z-a.

I got it figured out. It's under Tools, Option, Mail set-up/email account, address Book, open outlook. All OK now thanks.
