Do you have any molex connections left? If your card needs the 6 pin plug, you can buy adapters. Also, look around, do a google search, if you need more molex connections, they do make a splitter. It's like a Y cable, you plug one connection into it, and it gives you 2 plugs.

hmmm a Y cable???ok i get it but what i really mean is all the powersupply has been taken for my psu and i dont have a single molex left.

Right, but get the y connector, or even a couple, take one connection from one of your drives, plug it into your y connector, then take one of the y connector connections, plug it into your drive, then you'd have an extra molex left from the y connector.

I think that he means that all of his PS connectors are taken and it has no power connector left to plug his GPU.
First find the Make and model of your Power Supply.
I think you'll need to upgrade you PSU to be able to use your GPU.

Granted that may be, I know the thought crossed my mind, but isn't the 3850 supposed to be less power hungry than others?

If you have any free Sata connectors (unused drive bays) you can get one of these:

If your going to use the Y-splitter (in a Dell) you should really use 2 molex instead of 1. Trust me on that.
