I have a sharp Aquos LC37D43U and I want to connect it to my PC.
I have a Nvidia 6600 video card and I am connecting it with a VGA cable.
When I boot the system, the post screen shows. Even the Windows XP Professional loading screen shows.
The problem comes when its loading the desktop. The screen then turns black and posts: "The Signal is not compatible with this input."
I'm sure its not the TV nor the cable. It has to be the desktop settings. What I have it now is at 800x600 32bit graphics. Is that too much for the Aquos to handle? What setting should I use?
make sure you have the refresh rate @60 hz. I would set it for 1366x768@60hz. That is the native res of your TV so it should work. 1280x720 may work also.

I want to hook up my PC to an HDTV, what is the best thing to get?
I used to have an All-in-Wonder and it was pretty cool, mostly because of all the things I could do with the software! Now, they have things like ATI Theater, which I'm not sure what it is though it sounds good. Reviews of the latest All-in-Wonder say that it does well, but the drivers need work. I here that Haupauge cards are the best, I don't know if much software comes with it.
