I am putting together a HTPC using an ASUS P5B motherboard with on board audio, vista, and a Hauppauge Win-TV HVR-1800 capture card. When running the Media Center my audio for the TV Tuner cuts out within 40 minutes. This happens for both recorded and live inputs. I can still play back recorded feeds with audio and all the normal media center audio is functioning. I'm assuming since the audio cuts out after a certain time that I might be running into a overheating issue. I tried running it with a fan directly on the Hauppauge board with no luck

I am also having the exact same problem. I have installed the latest drivers, etc. but the same things happens - have you had any luck fixing it?

Has anyone else seen - or found a slution to this? I'm having the same problem - and installed the latest drivers, etc. If it's just a handful of us then perhaps we have faulty cards?

Has anyone tried running with Hauppauge's WinTV v6 application
which is supposed to come with the product ?

From what I've read there may be some problems with Windows
Media Center but this software is said to work OK .

If that corrects the problem then at least the hardware is OK .
