I have a Q9450 on a Asus PQ5 Pro mobo inside a Thermaltake Armor+MX and I want to overclock my CPU to 3.2ghz or maybe to 3.6ghz, and lower my temps too. I plan on getting a XIGMATEK HDT-S963 92mm Rifle CPU Cooler(I don't think the 120mm version will fit in my case), the mounting brackets and some Artic Silver 5, total price $60. Is there a better cooler for the same or less money? And I wasn't sure if this cooler would exhaust out the back or top?....I’ve read it depends on the mobo but I’m not sure about mine(I want it to exhaust out the back).

Freezer pro 7.

Cheap, great and many reviews, and its great with my OC'D Q9550 so you're good to go.

Just search cpu cooler on newegg, its the one with 2400 or so reviews.

UltimaSlayerVII: How easy are the pushpins to install(the ones on my stock intel cooler were a pain in the but to install). I'd take the Xigmatek one over the freezer pro 7, just so I can get brackets to install it.

U have ur computer already?!?!

Ok depends on the amount of modding u want to do. The Zerotherm Zen, Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer, and The Xilence one (i forget name) are all the same and very good. Same w/ the Xigmatek S-1283

If u dont mind lapping and HIGH CFM fans. The Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme is still king. The only reason it does bad in reviews is that no one laps it
