More Information

I'm looking to buy a used P35 board.  I have found a Gigabyte P35-DS3R (rev. 2.1) and MSI Platinum Combo board.  I suspect some Abit IP35 Pro boards may become available in the future as people upgrade.

I am not sure which one to choose from between the Gigabyte and MSI board as I found two for good prices.

Can anyone recommend and advise?

I think either is good for overclocking and features.  I might have a sound card so I don't need to worry about onboard sound.   I would like two or three hard drives or at least one Terabye HDD.   I'd like the option of eSATA but I think the Gigabyte board has the bracket for that?   The Gigabyte board has 3 PCI slots and the MSI has 2.   So, which one to choose and why?

Thanks.
