Hey, I recently bought a new 8800 GT graphics card and everything is fine until I restart my computer after installing the drivers. After the blue xp loading bar my pc just resarts and I don't know what's doing it, please help!
My specs are:
Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 2.80GHz
3gb of ram
570W "Trust" psu.
I'm not sure what my mboard is though, it's abit over a year old and is an intel and that's all I know.

Thanks in advance.

do you mean the problem started after you installed the graphics card, or it was fine until you installed the drivers?  the psu might be overloaded (would probably just shut down instead of rebooting, though).  did you uninstall the previous video drivers before installing the new ones?  that can cause a conflict.

It happened after the drivers were installed and I formatted before I installed anything.
Anouther thing about my psu is that it runs 16A on +12V1.

uninstall the new drivers! now download drivercleaner pro and after that reboot into safe mode and then use drivercleaner pro and clean nvidia drivers. if you ever had an ATI card then clean for ATI drivers as well!

now restart normally and download the nvidia drivers again. things should be fine after that. from here on out ALWAYS use drivercleaner pro!

16amps is kinda low UNLESS you have more than one +12volt rail! if not then i would def be thinking about another PSU and soon!

I have a +12V2 as well, but the psu is only cheap, only cost about £50.

If you press F8 during boot you should be presented with an option to not restart on system failure, it will fail maybe but at least you will get a message at the least. I would boot in safe mode and uninstall the drivers.
