Been a while since I posted here but I have always gotten good info in the past.
I had my powersupply go south on my last night when I was asleep. When I tried to turn it on this morning I got sparks shooting out the back so I pulled the plug really quick I was running an enermax liberty 620. I am now in need of a replacement psu. I was looking at a couple different units and wanting some input from people that didn't buy from the sight were I am looking to order mine from. Any information you all can provide would be helpful. Also wanted to know if anyone else has had a similar problem with the enermax liberty series of psu's.

I thought the 620 watt psu would be enough I guess I was wrong.
620 watts should be enough, you probably got a bad psu. Among those
3, I'd say the first one is the best. The first and second both have
same total 12v rail ampage, higher than the third. The first has more
total wattage, even though it's overkill. It also has more pcie
connectors, including 6+2 pin ones. This is judging by specs only, I
don't have an impression which is the best brand.
Ok none of those, get the PC P&C Silencer 750w (Tier1), it is the best 700-800w PSU on the market, and is less than all of the ones you listed.
I agree with this^. It's $25 less and is known to be high quality. Stay away from the TT; i believe they're tier 4. My friend bought one and it died on him after being on for 30 seconds. Or even go with this one for $110
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 817703005. The amps on the 12V rail is more important than the overall wattage.

PC Power is the way to go, they are the best. I have one and it runs rock solid. It is superior to everything in it's price range. 60a single rail is bad ass.
Even the Corsair vx550w PSU would be more than enough for your setup. It's $65 after $20 MIR and has 41A on the 12V rail. It has the 5 yr. Corsair warranty, so you can decide. The PCP&C 610w Silencer is a very nice PSU too.

Even the Antec NeoHE 550w PSU would be a good choice at $90 shipped!

It all depends on whether or not you want to power what you have and have some room later, or if you want to spend $150+ on a way overkill PSU now. Any of the PSU's above are more than enough for what you currently need. They will also allow you room for upgrades later, so you can decide what you want to do.

I am one that doesn't like to keep buying power supplies so buy more than you need like the PC power and maybe you can use it for your next upgrade as well. You never know what the next generation of video cards will require. It sucks to buy a video card only to find out that now you need a new PSU to get it to work.
I looked at the PC power and cooling one as well. I would like to stay with something that has modular cables to keep case clutter down to a minimum. I am hoping to upgrade to a crossfire setup sometime later this year. I need to replace the x1800xt it is starting to get a little dated, but that is another post entirely. I also I also want to have room to upgrade to a quad core sometime down the road.

I'd go with the Corsair VX line which are modular, 620 or 520. I am using the 620 and couldn't be happier. PC power and cooling are very good indeed from the reviews I have read.

That would be HX, but that isn't that important. The PCP&C 610w and up are very nice. If I was in the market for a 610w or greater PSU, I'd be looking at Corsair HX or PCP&C series PSU's.

True, I am sorry for that, the HX serie is indeed modular as the VX is not.
Any one of these will fill your current needs and they are all modular. Obviously the more powerful one will more head room with. Several are Silverstone, they are an excellent company. Really The 4 brands I mentioned are among the best PSU makers on the market any one of them will be head and shoulder above comparably powered tier 2 & 3 companies.

The ones I put an arrow beside are the only ones that are "good", from what I had read, and I had read just about every review on every PSU and those are the only ones I can consider "decent". Not sure where cisco gets his information on the ABS PSU, all ABS PSUs were low quality from what I read, and this puts all the others he listed in a bad light, atleast to me. The only modular PSU thatn I would recommend would be the Enermax Galaxy S 850w, and it is only semi-modular. The Galaxy S amount to the two (850w/1000w) best power supplies on that market in the 800-1000w range.
If you can not afford either PSU, then get a PC P&C, they are the absolute best PSUs for the 600-750w range, and a little bit of extra work to hide the wires is well worth getting something that wont ruin your system. Not saying that all other PSUs are not good, but why settle for second or third best when you can buy the absolute best for less money?
