Just a quick question. On this mobo is there a way to unlink the cpu and ram? I read on other forums that it's not and that it is only possible to do on Nvidia chip sets. Is that true?

PC specs:
Cpu: Intel q9550 @3.8
Ram: Patriot Viper 4GB (2 x 2GB)
GFX:8800gtx
Mobo:asus rampage formula
Psu: OCZ GameXStream OCZ700GXSSLI 700W
Hd:wd 250gb 7200rpm
Case:thermaltake armor
