Hey... I'm new here...

Anyway, I want to ask.. Which memory should I choose for Striker II extreme?

1. Patriot Viper DDR3 1333Mhz (2x2GB) kit ---> But you could upgrade it to 8GB
2. Corsair XMS3 1600Mhz (2x1GB) kit---> You also could upgrade it to 4GB
3. Corsair Dominator 1800Mhz (2x1GB) --> You can't add more modules in it anymore.
4. Super Talent Project X 1800Mhz (2x2GB)--> Well, this is my best choice, I think..

What do you think?

memory speed will not matter much, so i'd go with the least expensive alternative and spend the extra on cpu/gpu

The main thing I would advise is to buy a 2x2 gig kit. That gives you a full 4 gig in two slots, which will give better timings than 4 gig in four slots, as well as allowing 8 gig in the future without having to scrap any ram sticks. As to the brands you list, they are all good, though you might check out OCZ and Mushkin as well.

Patriot is a solid brand and in searching has the least problems with compatability. I have bought Patriot for about 5 years now, desktop and laptop and it all has worked great. I just got 8GB DDR2 800 6400 for 160 bucks after rebate. I have had it for 3 months and had 0 problems.
