I love that the most recent review is from 2.5 years ago. In the computer market that alone tells you something is wrong.

I wonder where they found it since they definitely aren't made anymore. Was it just laying around forgotten on a back shelf?

I paid less than that 4 years ago when I bought mine brand new.

I could actually use one of those on my 4th LAN computer for when friends come over... (currently overclocking an even older 1700+) will one of you that truly has two or three old Bartons in a box in the bottow drawer of your dest let me send you $2.00 for shipping and please mail me one...

But the real April Fools could be the ETA on the E8400 as 4/1, for I checked at about 9:00 Monday night PST, but it was 4/1 on the East Coast, and they were in stock. I finally was able to order an OEM for $189 for my brother-in-law's computer, free shipping. A few hours later, they were sold out again, but with the same 4/1 ETA. I have no idea when they came into stock online on Monday, but I checked in the morning, too, and they were not on the web page.
