I guess they did not meet the 1Q for the new Q9000's cpu. Will summer coming,so I guess I can build this thing in the fall when prices are lower.

The Q9*** series are out there, just very limited. Newegg had a handfull of 9450s Friday.
What I find annoying is Intel had an extra 2 months to produce quantities for this launch (if you follow the whole theory of being held back due to lack of competition from AMD) so it is either lack of planning by Intel or market manipulation to keep the price up.

Because there seems to be a slight shortage of "Critique this build", "Help with build", "Building a new computer, please critique", or the popular "Go ahead with new build now or what 13 months for new platform?" type threads in the cpu section.

Nice. Not to mention that the Xeon versions have been out for a while too and in good supply and work on almost every mobo that supports the desktop Q9xxx equivalent(i.e. Q9300 = X3320).

Oh also this was out and available a while ago :

You missed aout and didn't pay attention. Now go get the X3350 which is the Xeon equivalent and if your mobo supports the Q9450 it will support the X3350.
