I have been browsing various boards and looking into what type of RAM and motherboard I should get. I'm not too familiar with the benchmarks out there with the last two years worth of RAM, so if someone could paste that information here I'd appreciate it!
The Q9450 cost me $415 Cdn. and I hope to pay about $100 ~ $150 for the motherboard. I haven't decided how much I want to put towards RAM, but it is going to be a serious gaming machine that I want to enjoy as much as possible in Gears of War / UT3 / Crysis.
Someone recommended the following motherboards:
