ok so today i decedid 2 test out the auto tune feature in the ati drivers to oc one of my 3870X2 cards its frooze on me so i restarted my system and put it all back to defaults. Now when i try to start a game my system freezes up on me...... anyone what could be the issue

it comes factory clocked @ 825mhz. i cant seem to get it past 855mhz though. for memory, i am able to oc it to the max that catalyst allows and i believe thats 955mhz. its 900mhz factory clocked.

so basically 825\1800(ddr2) ->850\1910

Try using Rivatuner. You'll be able to raise your fan speed too with rivatuner, which will help you with stability.

ya it took me to 865 then it locked up on me..... 2 fix the issue i reinstalled the drivers and it was ok. maybe 8.4 will fix the oc...... if anyone has finished it tell us what u got

There might be a problem with the 865 clock as in previous HD3X00 serires cards. Skip that and go straight to 870+

I facing some problem with you, hang in game, can't auto tune, have your fixed?
