How do I get my cd and dvd drivers back

Hello, I performed a disk clean up and my cd and dvd are gone, they have a yellow exclamation mark by them. When I try to download fixes it says my system has not been updated and can not finish the install. HELP

Fixes? What do you mean, exactly?

I would try downloading the driver for your CD/DVD ROM drive, which you should be able to find on the distributor's web site. (Example: if you have an HP computer, go to HP's web site.)

Or try using System Restore, and restore your configuration to a point when your CD/DVD drive was working.
