Hi,

I just bought a X48T-DQ6 and will be putting it together this weekend.  I was wondering if their were any advantages/disadvantages to using the ICH9R or Gigabyte controller for RAID 0?

Thank you!

Intel's controller has very good software enhancements that make it perform well. I have not tried the Gsata, but i can say the intel is better then via and promise that i have used before.

In a review I saw just this morning the ICH9R outperformed the GSATA by a fair amount.  On that alone, I'd say the Intel.
