Acer aspire l320 sound stopped working

My acer L320 has lost sound. It was working ok, then suddenly the speakers stopped working. Then I was able to listen to music through headphones, but then that stopped working too. Everthing on the machine says it should be working ok, but still no sound.... please help???????

Does everything, include Windows Audio Service is set to Automatic, and the service is started. ?
