How to change Screen Resolution from Command Prompt

How do you change screen resolution on XP when there is no Display Icon in the Control Panel?

  1. Right-Click on the screen, but not on an icon, select Properties... go from there.
  2. Thanks for your reply. I did not ask the question properly. I wanted to know how to change the screen properties while not having Administrator permissions. I found what I was looking for. Start | Run| desk.cpl or Start | Run | cmd | c:\windows\system32\control or Windows | R | desk.cpl
