I cannot get Windows XP to boot up even under the f-8 safe mode

I cannot get Windows XP to boot up even under the f-8 admin safe mode.

What can I do?

Also, when it does act like it's going to start, the 'BLUE PROGRESS BUBBLE BAR' stops and freezes on the last 'BLUE BUBBLE', what's with that?

I'm open to ANY HELP OR SUGGESTIONS.

Do a repair install of windows with your original CD (you may have to set the BIOS to boot from the CD/DVD drive), then visit MS update to re-install all the security updates.
