20% jumper free configuration overclock failed with E6300

I thought I found an easy way to overclock my ASUS P5N-E SLI mb. It was already overclocked at 5%. I changed it to 20%. I did not change any other settings. The temp gauge on the front of my box went from 152 degrees to 164 degrees. Windows shut down. I thought cpuz would have the cpu temp but did not find it.
