£411+ WTF!!


There is no way this card is going to sell well if the same store is selling 2 x 8800GTS cards for £326!!


nVidia need to get those prices down to £300 sharpish, or lose alot of customers to the X2, priced at just £264


The GX2 is 55% more expensive than the X2... but isnt offering anywhere near that sort of performance increase.

It's 799.99 in Canada, and only 599.99 in the USA.

Even though our currencies are almost EXACTLY equivalent.

nVidia probs doesnt like Canada because AMD are there.

Didn't Toms recently do an article about hardware prices and find Germany was the cheapest place? Could you get one from there?

It might be worth the 20 or 30 quid a flight to Frankfurt costs these days to go shopping.

Yeah and I'm only about 8 miles from Robin Hood Airport... however... I dont know if I want the card that much to warrant a 2000 mile round trip! lol

Satellite internet 'issues'

I forgot AMD/ATI lives up here. They are practically my neighbours too. My biggest downside is that I don't have an SLI board so I realllllly wanted to get a single card solution, but at this price, purchasing 2 8800GT 512's AND an SLI board would still cost me less.

I guess nvidia won't be selling many of these anywhere other than the U.S., sorry our Euro and Canadian friends.

Its just so much because its so limited. Like what, 1 uk retailer selling em? Itll go down soon enough.
